BE OPEN and Cumulus have joined forces to hold a pan-European awards programme for students and graduates of creative courses of European universities and colleges.

Students of arts, design and architecture-related courses are encouraged to submit works that resonate with the general topic of ‘Second Life of Things in Design’ to have a shot at the following prizes:

1st place – €5,000

2nd place – €3,000

3rd place – €2,000

BE OPEN’s Choice – €2,000

Public vote prize – €2,000

The main prize will be allocated by the jury of academics and design industry professionals; BE OPEN’s Choice winner will be selected by the Founder of BE OPEN Elena Baturina; and the public vote on social media will define the third winner.

The entries are expected to demonstrate a creative, design-oriented take on the problems of sustainability, wiser production and consumption.
